Hello Folks - FPM COMP.CONFIGUARTION

Hi Experts,

I have referred the material and PDF that is on FPM.

I have created 2 views and WD component and WD application in package.

I have developed the application configuartion also.

Now i have to create the component configuration .

i.e

i need to know step by step for COMP.CONFIGUARATION creation and how to test this application.

Could you give me the step by step for COMP. CONFIGUARATION (CC) for me and that will be a great help to me.

Hi Srinivas,

are u using GAF or OIF?

i am giving the steps for GAF component configuration.

1. Go to WDA FPM_GAF_COMPONENT

2. Right click on Component Configurations folder->clieck Create.

3. in the Component nam write FPM_GAF_COMPONENT and in Configuration Id give any ID say ztest and click create button

4. Click on main step(1) and give the main step name and ID and check the enabled check box.

5. Expand main step and click on UIBB(1).

In Component name write ur Web DynPro component

In view click on search help-> you will get the window list in ur applcation, select one.

6. Click on Save button, and ur simple component configuration is created, now use this Configuration ID to create application configuration.

Thanks for your reply. Iam using the OIF not the GAF process.

Do you know the steps of OIF and please let me know on this.

Hi srini,

For OIF Floor Plan ,

While creating the Application For you component Provide component as

Component : FPM_OIF_COMPONENT

Interface view : FPM_WINDOW

Plug : default

and save your entry . this say your component going to involev in OIF events .

now right clck on your Application and creat /change configuration , it will open the new browser and ask for configuration ID

Provide a configuration Id ,That is unique for your component . and it will show a table witha 2 line item . provide the name and click GO TO COMPONENT CONFIGRATION button it will navigate to the OIF windo you can configure tha floor plan there.
