User Password expiry in MDM

Hello Experts,

In MDM 7.1 user id is locked after 5 unsucessful logons. Can we set a specific expiry period for any user in MDM or is there any default expiry period for any user in MDM (same as that in SAP ECC User management)?

We can now control and define the password parameters as explained above in MDM 7.1 in the mds.ini file.

Earlier in MDM 5.5 these features were not available.

Lock Account After Failed Password Attempts

Number. The number of failed password attempts to allow before locking the related user account. The default value is 5.

Lock Account Duration

Number. The default value is 1800.

Minimal Password Length

Number. The minimum length of an MDM user password. The default value is 5.

Password Expiration Days

Number. The number of days an MDM useru2019s password is to remain valid, after which it must be changed. The default value is 90.

Password Expiration Warning

Number. The number of days in advance that an MDM user is to be warned their password is about to expire. The default value is 7.

All parameters need to be set in MDS.INI.
