Automatic sync in standard netweaver mobile client - 7.1

Is automatic synchronization of mobile client with backend possible in netweaver mobile 7.1?

yes, you can enable automatic synchronization of mobile.

Automatic sync for mobile client on laptops can be enabled.

Am looking at automatic sync of mobile client on PDA's, HHT's

Dear Kalyan,

Sorry, I thought that it's for Laptop client

I know about DOE. I have little bit knowledge in client side.

Time-Controlled Synchronization feature does not support PDAs and 
only supports laptops in SAP Netweaver Mobile 7.1.

I have find this above statement in bellow PDF.

By the above statement. I think it's not possible.

by automatic sync, what type of behaviour are you looking for?

Hi,

Mobile device is always connected using Wi-Fi connectivity.

As a result ,instead of using a thin client which would be a browser on my device, am looking at options where a thick client can automatically be synchronized with backend.

Please do let me know if automatic sync is possible for mobile clients on HHT's/mobile devices

i only know of automatic synchronization onDock event or establishing IP address with the OCA client

what you are looking for sounds like timed synchronization in the background of the device which seems to only apply to Laptop client
