MIGMON Error : com.sap.inst.migmon.imp.ImportMonitor

Hi all

We are installing BI 7 on AIX Oracle db.

During the phase IMPORT ABAP (phase 16/19)

We get the following error message

java version "1.4.2"

Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 2.3)

IBM J9 VM (build 2.3, J2RE 1.4.2 IBM J9 2.3 AIX ppc64-64 j9ap64142-20090310 (JIT enabled)

JIT - 20090210_1447ifx1_r8

GC - 200902_24)

The java class is not found: com.sap.inst.migmon.imp.ImportMonitor

After investigation we have found posts where some consultans have updated MIGMON.SAR ; unfortunaterlly this has not solved our issue.

We still have the same error message

If anyone has an idea ;thanks in advance

Indeed this is the same issue and we have seen these posts and tried to do apply it.

Unfortunately the pb was not solved.

But we have idenfied the problem

We have started the installalation from a directory ../../sapinst_dir/DB

And we have just changed the access right for the directory DB (chmod -R 777) and now everything is OK

i changed my directory:/tmp/sapinst_instdir/ERP/SYSTEM/ORA/CENTRAL/AS,chmod -R 777 /tmp/sapinst_instdir/ERP/*.

the sapinst is going to run.
