Do you know any other transaction than STMS that allow to import transports ?

You can do it from the OS level.

You can use STMS_IMPORT, if you want users just to avoid any other functionalities available in core transaction

Hi,
You can restrict STMS for limited functions as well.. Best practise is to setup transport team with STMS required finction access..

You need to consider that the STMS is not just a little transaction, but rather an administration tool which "mounted" access system boundaries.
It can be started and accessed via reports (hence SM37) and RFC (hence SE37) as well, from other systems in the same transport domain.

Auto import of transport request is also possible by scheduling jobs, however this should be restricted for quality env only. For production clients it is better to use manual import methods. Please refer following posts for your reference.
