PI 7.11 - Imported Objects from PI 7.0 cannot be edited ...

Hi,

I exported two Software Component versions from PI 7.0 and imported it to PI 7.11 to run it as test scenario. If I open a mapping the edit/display button is deactivated and following message will be shown:

Objects in cimponent cannot be changed because the original language is not defined

The display Language is English (OL) and my account language in the ABAP part (SU01) is also English.

Any ideas, what also need to be set?

You have to change the "original language" in SWCV.

If I just set the default language in the SC, the problem is still the same. Is there any documentation with a checklist or steps to do, for imports of PI 7.0 objects into PI 7.1 system?

no as there is just one - set the language in the SWCV and save/activate

There is a how to guide for this.

You have to set also parameters "modificable" and "original system" in SWCV
