Hi all,
in my implementation, I need to mask (= make invisible) folders ins EasyDMS for certain users.
I see with help of the debugger, the folder structure is read with the function module BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETLATEST2 - but I see no user exit for this module.
So my questions:
- Is it possible, to implement a function module in the SAP system, which is used instead of BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETLATEST2?
- If not, is there a user exit, which is called in this function module (for example directly in the function or while BOM explosion), which I can use?
Thanks in advance
Roland
Hi Roland,
I think a possibility could be to use the ACL permissions in EasyDMS. With this function you can assign individual permissions for folders and documents in EasyDMS. So users without sufficient permission might not be able to get these folders then.
Best regards,
Christoph

You can bypass BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETLATEST2 with Z_EDMSBAPIDOC_GETLATEST2, but this is not recomended at all. Also note Z_* function modules will not be supported by SAP. The use of Z_EDMSBAPIDOC_GETLATEST2 will make easydms to call Z_EDMSBAPIDOC_GETLATEST2 instead of BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETLATEST2 . But as said in the above thread ACL is the best way to do this.
