Hi Raj,
Check this -
/people/shabarish.vijayakumar/blog/2006/02/13/unable-to-open-iresrid-xipipi-71-updated-for-pi-71-support
Try with
http://<Ip Address/Host name>:<J2ee port>/rep/start/index.jsp
If you use Host Name, maintain the host file entry.
Instead of this you can try with Ip addres.

Hi Raj,
just see if this is the problem:
login as XISUPER and then go to,
Exchangeprofile ->node->Connections->com.sap.aii.connect.repository.name
Here it shoud be the "hostname of the repository server" I guess
Also go through the following links:

Hi Raj,
the problem might be 4 ways...
1) Check in the C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc folder HOSTs file. check the HOST IP and HOST Name are maintaining there or not. if not, with Admin rights U can make an entry in the file.
2) Internet--> tools > connections> LAN settings> Advances> enter the IP Address of XI server.
3) check the RFC connection is working fine in the XI server -> <i><b>INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI</b></i>
4) finally check Ur J2EE engine is Up or not....
These are the possible ways to resolve Ur problem...

Hi Raj,
You can go to the menu on the Internet Explorer
Tools -> Internet Options -> take the Connections Tab -> LAN Settings -> Advanced -> and in the Do not use proxy give starxi and save.I think this will help.
