Stock posting error

Hi,

One 04 inspection lot was failed in testing physically. In SAP transaction, this inspection lot should be given a REJECT UD ie scrap, but stock wrongly posted to unrestricted stock . How to make a write-off against the production order same like movement type 553(TO SCRAPPING in UD).

I understand we can make a write-off by 551 against cost center, but the management team don't agree with this method and require this scrapping must be reflected in production order because we don't have budget for scrapping against cost enter.

Can any one please help me to fix this issue.

There is one SAP note which will help to reverse UD and stock posting. Note 175842.

Execute

UD and Stock posting reversed.

Do posting correctly. This will reflect in your production order, as document remains same.

Hello Krish,

What Vineeth has suggested is the correct method. Apply note 175842. This would create one program in system. Give inspection lot number as input to this program and reverse the posting. As a result of which the stock which you have posted to unrestricted use would be reversed and posted back to quality inspection. Now do 553 movement against the same inspection lot in QA32.
