Rebate Balances

Dear Gurus,

I have a rebate that was set up for our fiscal year. With the new year, we want to end the old rebate and create a new rebate; however, there is a balance in the rebate that we want to transfer to the new rebate. How do you transfer the rebate balance from one rebate to another?

Rebates balances cannot be transferred like this. Ideal way is to find out the accruals payable and settle the rebate for 0. Once the credit memo is created, accruals are reversed. Then you can create a new rebate agreement and post the accrual that was there in the old rebate manually in this rebate agreement.
