Difference in Delivery date & GI date in Sales order

Former Member

Hello all.

I have a issue here, the scenario is as follow,

In sales order> scheduling lines tab >shipping tab

The Goods Issue date and time is 20.05.2010 & 20:00:00

and the Delivert date and time is 21.05.2010 & 00:00.

We are unbale to determine the gap of 4 hrs. Where is the time maintained in IMG ?

Also in Sceduling the Trasnit time and trp. lead time is maintained as 0.

For that shipping point the working hours are 24 hrs working.

Thanks

Neil D

Hi Neil,

In customizing --> Define scheduling by shipping point, make sure your shipping point has "Rounding work days" field as blank.

Here is the description help of this field:

Rounding-up period for delivery scheduling (in days)

The amount of time that the system automatically adds as a safety margin to the estimated time required for processing a delivery.

Use

The system adds the rounding-up margin to the time estimates for a delivery, regardless of whether the system

Calculates the times from data in the master records, or

Simply uses the default times that apply to the relevant shipping point.

Thanks,

Harsimran

Hi Neil,

Check Route definition (I would assume that you already check that).
