Hi Everyone
We have a specific problem with the calculation of the delivery date to the customer. We would like to avoid delivery on a bank holliday.
Example:
Good issue from France (shipping point has factory calendar for FR): 2010.05.04
Delivery to customer in Netherlands (route has factory calendar for NL): 2010.05.05
In the example above we would like to avoid that the customer get the delivery on the 5th of May since this is a bank holliday in Netherlands. This bank holliday has been maintained on the factory calendar for NL (on the route), but is not taken into account when the delivery date is calculated.
Questions
1. Why isn't the routes factory calendar taken into account?
2. How do we avoid the case above?

Hi
It is ok, we have to just make sure that this is taken into account in the calculation of the confirmed delivery date as well.

Hi Krishna
We have another additional question.
We now get a warning message saying
"No goods accepted on 2010.06.03. The next possible date is: 2010.06.04".
The date is never changes.
Is it possible to make sure that the date is also changed to 2010.06.04?
Br,
Erik

I have seen this thread before but is not 100% clear to me. It says "Requested delivery date is influnced by customer calendar". I don't understand what that means. Should I have a specific factory calendar related to the customer?
