Hi Mohammad,

For a regular system copy PRD -> QAS you don't need to copy these files..

Kind regards,

Mark

Hi ,

As for the work directory under the instance for ABAP based system nothing needs to be done and does not need to be copied from source to target.

The spool/output request are stored in db unless you specify anthing else for the Temse location. hence no need to worry for spool requests . They are reorged depending on the house keeping jobs.

Only the Global mount directory (/sapmnt/<SID>/global on unix ) needs to be copied selectively where background job logs are stored as well as workflow logs.

Also any non-SAP directories may need to be copied from source to target if the application needs it .
