Hi Experts,

Case I:If a GR is being posted through MIGO with respect inbound delivery then the table MKPF is not getting updated with the delivery no.

Case II:But when PGR is being done through VL32N then in MKPF delivery no. getting updated.

Is there any way of having any link with the inbound delivery in inventory management tables for case I.

Regards,

For your information, prior ECC 6.0, posting GR for Inbound delivery is not possible because it will cause unexpected results such as inconsistencies.

As of ERP 6.0, you can use inventory management transactions (MB0A, MIGO, MBST) to carry out the goods receipt for inbound deliveries in the standard SAP system in such a way that the inbound delivery that is relevant for goods movement is updated. However, the checks on the eligibility of this update for possible inconsistencies are insufficient; for example, it is possible to post the goods receipt for inbound deliveries that are packed without the system updating the packing status or the history. Please kindly refer to SAP Note 1050944 which provides more information for you. Hope this helps.

Hi,

This is standard system behavior.

1. In MIGO, you could post GR with reference to several inbound delivery together. Therefore, system doesn't know which deliery number should be filled.

2. In MIGO, you have the option to manually input field "delivery note". If you want to have MKPF-XBLNR populated with inbound delivery number, you have to manually input the delivery number into that field.

Hi,

You can put a flag in shipping cusotomizing in Global shipping data.

Document Flow Update for Stock Postings and Returns Deliv.

Controls whether the document flow of the inbound delivery is updated with the material document when the goods receipt for the delivery is posted with inventory management transactions. If the indicator is set, the document flow of the inbound delivery is also updated with the related returns delivery to the vendor.

Log.exe. / Shipping / BAsic shipping functions / Configure global shipping data.

If you make postings on an inbound through MIGO, you will see document flow update.
