All background jobs are delayed

Hi all,

I have a problem which is all background jobs in sm37 are delayed. I don;t know what is the reason behind why most of jobs are delayed. I have checked in sm50, most of background work processes are free but still the jobs are delayed.

One thing I found that if I go to the delayed jobs and change to start immediately most of jobs will also start to run.

And once all jobs completed. Again, the jobs will be delayed.

Anyone facing this before?

It sounds like you need to pay attention to parameter rdisp/btctime, but to be on the safe side please check each bullet point carefully.

Thanks, the problem solved now.

The problem due to wrong assignment of rdisp/btctime. Instead of number someone mistaken put

instance name.
