Ec6 Installation errror.

Hi Folks,

I have tried to install ECC6 ABAP + JAVA stack IDES version on my system. I stuck up in phase ABAP import process with below error message in all Task log files.

i have checked the OPS$ user in SAPUSER table and also tried to reset the password using brtools. unfortunately i could not fix the issue. Any suggestions are welcome.

That is 100% and OPS$ user problem... Read Note 400241

If you are using windows check the synonyms, also read Note 50088

I have managed to sort out the OPS$ error. Now R3trans -x is working.

I tried to refer note : e 534765 - db connect fails because of wrong db schema in environment regarding the error

Which says I should set the environment variable dbs_ora_schema=SAP<SID> where SAP<SID> is the owner of the tables in the database. I am tryig to install ECC6.0 ( When i change the ENV variable r3trans -x itself failing.). If i am not wrong i see schema user is SAPSR3 in ECC6.0. Please suggest...

Your environment variables seems to be correct...

This error usually indicates that some of the previous load jobs are not finished properly..

Can you see if there is any ".bck" file exists in temp installation directory ?

If you see any .bck files try to merge it using "R3load -merge_only <task file>" and reimport the same using <job_name>.cmd from command prompt..

Letter you can RETRY installation from GUI.

Hi,

Either LISTERNER is not up or DATABASE is not started.

Check if LISTENER service is up and started.

Also check If database is up and running from command prompt.
