system cannot find source storage bin

hi gurus,

can any body tell what does this fm SWW_WI_ERROR_MESSAGE_SEND_S mean in workflow log.

We have one custom workflow with a background step . The wf just got stuck at background step while creating TO with status u201CIn Processu201D.

The workflow log says "SWW_WI_ERROR_MESSAGE_SEND_S ".

The error message is "System cannot find source storage bin"

Message no. L3 008

can anybody suggest the reason why this has happened ?

The message is quite clear. When trying to create a transfer order, the system is unable to find the bin. Please check where the material (quant) is lying in the system and verify if that location falls in the storage type search strategy defined in the system.
