Service master with MDM

Dear All,

Please let me know how to configure service master in SAP MDM 7.1. What is the interface available from MDM to SAP ECC 6.0 i.e. how service master data will be picked from MDM while making service PR?

Hi Amit

As explained by Rajesh MDM doesnot provide any standard business content for Service Master. You can follow below steps for your requirement-

1. Build a custom respository in MDM. Prerequisite will be a data modeling exercise for the Service master, you can replicate the ECC table structure.

2. Use SRVMAS01 Idoc schema for syndicating xml files from MDM.

3. Use PI to convert the xml files into IDocs and post in ECC.

Hi,

As per my understanding, In MDM we donot have Standard Business content for Service Master. You need to buld your own.

Check if you can utilised message type "SRVMAS' to transfer data from MDM to SAP ECC through PI.

Service PR will be done in ECC..Am I right?
