Delivery Issue in PGI

Dear Experts,

We have working on Packaging,MM consultant have configured packaging material. but while creating PGI i am facing below issues

Delivery item is not or only partially packed

Message no. VL615

What would be the issues.

It may be b'coz, it was not enough that only the partial quantity for which you want to post a goods receipt is packed, rather the whole item had to be completely packed.

Kindly check SAP Note 873877 - Error message VL615 w/ partial GR for inbound delivery and SAP Note 768273 - VL615 during the goods issue of a packed delivery.

Do the needful.

Inside the delivery document, pl see a 'BOX' icon. It is 'Packing' icon. Go inside that tab. And enter the packaging material details there.

(I hope you understand that you sell a normal material from delivery document and use packaging material in 'packing' tab to pack that normal material. )

Then after finishing paching activity, your delivery should go through.
