EHP4 and phase REPACHK2 - are all instances in the domain locked?

Hi

I have been asked a question by the development team and I'm hoping someone can answer it for me.

We are about to apply the EHP4 to our Production machine. I will be starting the online phase a week in advance of the scheduled downtime period. However, the Workbench is locked by the REPACHK2 phase fairly early in the process.

My question, will this lock the Workbench of all the systems in the same transport domain or only the Production instance (eg can they create a transport in the Development system and import into into the Test system during this period)??

Hi,

This will lock development workbench only in the system where you are performing the upgrade. So, in your case it is production system only. You can work in development and quality system.
