Dear Experts,

We have Value mapping maintained in XI for our scenarios.

We want to delete few entries of the Value mapping.

We are deleting those entries in Dev Server and transporting to the Production.

When we creating request then delete entries are showing there, but when these transport requests getting imported in Production, these delete entries are not shown in Change list.

Please help.

with regards,

Ravi Siddam

Hi

value mappings can be edited or deleted directly in QA or PRD.

It will not give any version conflict in PRD.

So delete the Value mapping manually in PRD.

Thanks for replies/

We have been doing the same thing, but it was giving some cache problem. We raised OSS for cache problem.

OSS has recommended to do the activity in DEV and transport it to PRD and not change/delete/add entries directlty in PRD.

Hi Ravi,

When we creating request then delete entries are showing there, but when these transport
requests getting imported in Production, these delete entries are not shown in Change list.

Have you deleted the not required value mapping entries from dev and Are you selecting include

deleted objects while doing the tarsport.

I think you can edit the configuration part in ID directly ,i mean to say you can go to ID and modify

the value mapping entries in prod.
