Hi,

Yes , it means the ports are open,

Now you have to check the configuration first is that correct in configtool.

If it seems fine.

Then try to call test connection again in configtool and inform the LDAP administrator whether he gets any hit or request on LDAP server from you sap server.

If not , it mean it is configuration problem.

If yes, he is getting hit , then you LDAP administrator need to check is there problem for in LDAP which is not passing the request to SAP system.

Thanks

Anil

Hi,

Can you make a test connection using configtool for LDAP.

Check point no:- 6 of following link for LDAP connection test.

Hi Hanumant

Please check the JAVA_HOME system enviromental variable in my computer (My computer > Priperties >> Advance >> Startup and Recovery >> Enviromental Variable >> System Variables >> Add new JAVA_HOME parameter with path for installed Java JDK)

And check database server services (Start > Run > Services.msc >> Start your database services manually and change properties as automatic)

Then try to re-start your server.

Hope it helps

Regards

Arun

From the logs , it seems you are using LDAP as a datasource in your landscape. Check whether your LDAP is up or not.

Hi,

Firstly do the following check.

1. login to the host of SAP system where java is installed.

2. telnet to LDAP server on the port which you have mentioned in configtool.

telnet <ldap server hostname> <ldap server port no which is maintained in configtool.

check what output you get for above command. and let us know in the forum.

if you get as an error for above command , it means ports are not open, get it open from you network team

Thanks

Anil
