Change a required field to not required

Hi Experts,

We are a SRM 5.5 Extented Classic shop and I need to make a change to the Maintain User Profile screen so that the phone extention is not required when making a change to the phone number. Or that a email address is required when making a change to user profile data. Can anyone tell me how to make this change or is that a badi change?

Regarding the email question

There are only two setting which we need to maintain in the service

BBPAT05 regarding the user authorization

1. You need to give change access to the attribute in the

customising tabel BBP_ATTR_ACCESS (In SPRO it is Maintain attribut

Access Rights by Role) to the role assigned to the user.

2. You need to set the entry in customizing table T77OMATTR-MULTIPLE for

attribute. Then the user should be able to change the attribute.
