ACC in ITS

Hi Experts,

I have another question about access control context usage...If we are using the portal, but we use the iViews with ITS to access to master data, do the ACC authorizations apply or only the backend (PFCG) roles?

Hi Neil,

When you are using portal and iviews with ITS enablement to access back end, you can access only the standard SAP GUI if it is an transactional iview. For this only backend roles apply not ACC.

PLM WUI uses the webdynpro applications, when you click on create material the webdynpro application /PLMU/WDA_MAT_OIF

is called not standard SAP GUI transaction. ACC authorizations apply here.

Hi,

We are facing same problem.. We are developing some report like Change and History details of PLM Objects and want to make it available over WUI. But the ACC conditions also should be valid for these reports..

Any function module or methods available if we pass the current user name and object for validation?
