Dear Expert,

I am attaching App server to Linux DBHOST (SUSE10SP2) using sapinst, however it got error in phase Install Common System File:

FSL-02007 Unable to set access rights of /sapmnt/L01/profile/DEFAULT.PFL.

ERROR 2010-05-18 11:29:10.476

FCO-00011 The step createDefaultProfile with step key |NW_DI|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_System|ind|ind|ind|ind|6|0|createDefaultProfile was executed with status ERROR .

I have set the permission to 777 from /sapmnt to all subdirectories and DEFAULT.PFL itself, please see below:

drwxrwxrwx 4 l01adm sapsys 96 Apr 14 09:44 sapmnt

drwxrwxrwx 5 l01adm sapsys 120 Apr 13 16:26 L01

drwxrwxrwx 2 l01adm sapsys 192 Apr 13 17:13 profile

-rwxrwxrwx 1 l01adm sapsys 518 Apr 13 17:13 DEFAULT.PFL

i also have checked that there's no issue with UID and GID.

Please advise.

Regards,

Rudi

Dear All,

The issue is solved already, i fixed the permission to RW (read write) from RO (Read Only) in the NFS host server.
