Transporting SOAP Datasources

Hi Friends,

I have an interface XI to BW. Design and development completed in DEV. For this we used SOAP datasource (6AZSAP_XI).

I tried to transport datasource to QA from DEV. but i am unable to do it.

Please let me know the process. How can we do this. Some of the blogs saying that not possible to transport soap datasource to QA.

Then how can we do this. do i have to create in QA. or is there any other options. I don't have the create authorizations in QA.

Please help us on this.

HI Ramg,

Thank you for quick information. so do i have to transport all bw objects to QA. then i have to create datasource manually in bw qa. is this correct.

Suppore if i create datasource again in bw qa. what about the proxy. do i have to change the proxy. what about Table structures.

How it's going to work this. do i have to regenerate the proxy in XI QA.

I am bit confusion on this. can u give me the steps. if you clear on this.

Even im not sure about this transportation. But if you go thru the above discussion link..check "Pankaj Unhale" comments!!

you just need to transport your Infosource.
