HI,
I am using Inspection type - 04 with Early Inspection at Goods Receipt .
But when I release process order the inspection lot is not getting generated.
Any idea why the system is not creating one? Or system behaves in different way when inspection type 04 is used
Can any one please explain.
Regards,
Pavan
Hi,
In inspection type 04 set up data -- inspe contrl data --keep early lot creation for the order item.
then at the time of released lot should have been created.
Qa32 --you can check the lot whether it is at crtd ststus or relesed status.

Hi,
Please check following:
Go to material master of that Material, then select that inspection type (04) and then go to detailed info on that insp type.
Check the tab 'Control insLot' you have to select 'Early Lot creation for order item'
If you do that setting it should work.
Best Regards,
Shekhar

Confirm following once:
1.Make sure that the control key in task list used have at least tick of Auto GR( for 03 & 04).
2.Make sure that you have activated early inspection in the 04.

How did you check for the inspection lot? Make sure it isn't in CRTD status which is usually only seen via QA32/33 worklists. If the material is batch managed, and no batch number was assigned in the process order, then you might find it in a CRTD state with the BREQ status on it.
Also make sure you released an order that was created after you made the control settings in the material master.
