availability check with variant configuration

Dear Chams,

I actually i want to configure ATP logic with variant configuration. My exact requirement is as follow :

I had created one material 1111 with two characteristics (1) Color and (2) Engine type.

Now the stock is available as follow

Color Engine type Stock

RED 120 CC 2 PCS

BLUE 150 CC 2 PCS

Now if i create sales order for variant RED and 120 CC for 5 quantity than system should consider only 2 pcs as available quantity and should create requirement for 3 PCS.

While currently system is taking all 4 PCS as available quantity irrespective of variant value.

How should i configure this ?...

Hi,

Have you solved your problem. I have same problem and I want to check availability check for component and I dont use BOM in sales order.

Could you tell me please how did you solved your problem

In the requirements class config, for the class that relates to your situations, you need to make settings for the fields under the section 'Configuration'.
