FM Budgeting: Sum. within FR04 (=Total up) is not working as expected

Hi,

After checking the already entered / summarized budget figures in classic funds management an entry needs to be changed. This change is done using T-code FR04 at the lowest level of the commitment items.

Using the u201Ctotal upu201D function within T-code FR04 sums up the changed figure only to the 3rd level of the funds center hierarchy, the 2nd and 1st level remains unchanged.

Thus overall values are not matching with lower level values.

What is the reason and how to solve this problem?

Best regards, Christian

Hi,

Be careful, transaction FM9Q only should be used in these situations.

You can use this program in the following situations:

u2022 Bottom-up budgeting in hierarchy maintenance

Within hierarchy maintenance, you have saved your budget data for the new year inconsistently on a lower hierarchy level and want automatically to fill all interim levels of the budget hierarchy with values.

u2022 Changes to the Budget Structure

You have defined new budget objects within the budget structure and these are to receive a budget.

When totaling up the budget values, all changes which you have made to your original budget by means of budget updates such as supplements, are not taken into account for each transaction but are entered into the original budget.

Moreover, in order to make sure that budget is proper and there is not inconsitencies, there are some other transactions that you can use. FMBV and FM9BUD are commom use.

I hope this help.
