Credit check on SD documents

Hi Experts!

Within our automatic credit control config, we set a Max Doc Value of £1000. This works fine as when this value is exceeded the block is set when the SD document is saved.

However, when the document is changed to reduce the value below £1000 and saved off, the block is still set. We can release the doc using VKM3 but is there a config setting to recalculate the order value and remove the block?

Hi Mike ,

Once the credit check has been carried out at the time of order creation and the status will be blocked after saving it.

Now if you go to change mode and reduce the doc value still the status will be blocked . Unless you release the document by using release transaction VKM3. There is no standard setting for this in SAP . It works in the same fashion.

Hi Mike,

Yes there is another way but does not require configurational change. When the document value is changed to below the limit value, re-run the availability check again and It will unblock the document on saving.
