Guidance required for configuration of Tea Auction in SD Logistics

Hi All,

I have a scenario where from a Tea Factory 10 kgs of tea are despatched which reached the auctionpoint where 9kgs are auctioned and 1kg is returned.

How to configure this entire scenario in SD logistics?In case of Lost in transit what need to be done?

Another point to be noted that the auction point is kind of third party agent where SAP is not installed.

Please suggest at the earliest in this regard.

You could use consignment process to map this scenario. Create a consignment fill-up order for the 3rd party and ship the 10 Kg. This shows up as consignment stock of the 3rd party agent. After the auction process, do a consignment issue for the qty auctioned. For the qty to be brought in, create consignment pick up order. Receive all the remaining qty against the pick up order. Issue the qty lost in transit to a cost center with 201 mvt.
