Plant wise list of DIR

Hi All,

We have 4 plants performing different R&D activities. We have identified the key DMS requirements. Also, an new additional requirement is to be be able to view the document types according to the different plants? Can we link this with Compnay and plant code and filter in reports to view?

Hi Sandeep,

DIR's and Plant/Company codes are independant entities. One approach in establishing the link would be by assigning relevant objects to the DIR(like Material Master et-al which have a company/plant code assigned).

Speaking of your requirement specifically, you may achieve the same via Classification feature(Populate the 4 plants assigned to relevant DIR's as options during search and filter accordingly).

Hi Sandeep,

Create characteristic for Company and Plant code as a separate and assign to the document type class.

Thus these field will appear in addtional data field as a separate one. and then you can filter search data as per your requirment.
