You can put a pause action in your BLT and use random to generate the pause time.

Hi

Let me know that you want fixed time scheduler or your time will vary if you need fixed time scheduler say 30 sec then you need to configure your transaction in schedule editor by following steps.

1. System Management -> Schedule Editor

2. Select your transaction and set time each 30 seconds under pattern.

3. you can also set your transactioon parameters.

4. Give your user name and password

5. Enable your scheduler.

Yes...I want a random function in the scheduler.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

There is a request sent from MES to the OPC server every 40 sec (on an average). I would like to mimic this in MII by scheduling a transaction at a random 40 sec.

Why not setup a PCo agent and allow that to provide the event trigger to your transactions instead of a random scheduler?
