Lifecycle timeseries updating from flat files

Hi,

We 'll got by flat files all the relevant information to be able to maintain the Times Series for Phase in and phase out ( start and end date with the associated combination of characteristing for settings.

What is the proper way for maintaining /SAPAPO/MSDP_FCST1 Lifecycle data from flat files

1/ to load those data in APO

2/ once in APO, to update (create Time series for phase in / phase out and assign to the CVC values.

For 1/ : I hesitate between :

1.1/ BW process and usage of BW Master data to store phase cycle (eg start and end date of End of life phase)

1.2/ BAPIS for updating extra attributes of MAT/LOC table

I think that solution 2 has better performance but I would appreciate feedbacks from expert to validate

For2 /: I have not yet idea because I have not found BADI for it but it seems to be a "classical" problematic. Does some one have an idea of the proper way.

If possible can you please give me BAPI name related to uploading data using tcode /SAPAPO/MSDP_FCST1?
