How to do the Configutation for distribute the maintenance certificate from SolMan to Netweaver based systems ?

Please be more specific. What's missing in the documentation? What's the issue your struggling with?

Hi

I have problem In distribute the maintenance Cerfi:

In SM system -In SMSY->Evnivorment-SM opertation- Admin SDCCN here i am not able to assin "Master system"

Problem:Back destination from system XX1_TEST to master

system SM0 cannot be found

But i check RFC from managed system and SM system are working fine

In Managed (satellite)

SDCCN Logs:

No active master Solution Manager destination maintained. [Maintenance Pack

Updating license data not possible Maintenance Package....

....

Please let me know what is the issue

Hi,

In managed system, goto SDCCN, browse through the menu options to reach task specific settings and then edit the RFC destination settings.

In RFC settings you get to see RFC of SM system.

Make the SM destination as master destination. Tick the Master checkox.

This should resolve the current issue.

In your SAP Solution Manager system (as of Ehp1, Stack ST 400 SP18):

- run transaction solman_workcenter

- choose work center (tab) "Change Management"

- choose in left navigation "License Management".

If you are not able to see work center "Change Management", see the Security Guide for required authorizations.
