Hi Experts.
Currently, My client has a custom-RFC to Modify Routing. The RFC uses BDC Logic to update a Routing. It performs the actions like: 1) Header modification 2) Insert/delete/modify Sequences 3) Insert/delete/modify Operations/Sub-operations 4) Allocate/de-allocate PRT's 5) Assign/Delete Material and lastly 6) Assign/delete Reference Operation Set to a Routing. It is Running on par and my client is also very happy with that. Now, last week somebody proposed my client that EWB(Engineering Workbench; Transaction Code: CEWB) API's could be an alternative for the current RFC. So, I've been told to check on this. I've the following 2 questions:
1) Is is possible to Create a RFC for Routing Modifiaction USING EWB API's? Is it adviseble to my client??
2) If yes, Can I expect those 6 actions from that?
Hi Guru,
Please go through the following weblog, it might be of use to you:
Change Routing(CA02) - Material Assignment | SCN
Also please refer to OSS Note 0000488765 and the program Z_SIMPLE_EWB mentioned in the correction instructions of the same.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
BGaurav
