Issue in CCR of Stocks

Hi,

We are facing issue while doing CCR in APO for specific material location combination. After running CCR it does not give any

differences for iteration step but when we are comparing stock in R3 using trasncation MMBE with APO stock using transcation /sapapo/rrp3 the stock is not matching.

In APO additional batch stocks appearing in unrestricted stock category(CC) which is not present in R3. No stocks for this batch are shown in any of the stock listings in R3. The last transaction for this batch had taken place in R3 in April 2009. Post the last transactions, closing stocks in R3 stood at 0.

Any clue as to what could be the problem ?

Anirudha

Hi,

I will advise to delete the unwanted stock once and then check if it reappears again.

You may check log in SLG1 to check if it comes again.

hi,

Delete the stocks as in using RLCDEL ? The reason I am asking this is b'cos we never delete the category stock ( CC ) elements through RLCDEL....aways use CCR to correct stock inconsistencies.

Hi,

The way to remove these stocks l is your choice.

You may remove the unwanted stock by program u2018/SAPAPO/DELETE_STOCKu2019 also .

Main idea is to see if the stocks are reappearing.

This could be one- off incident and may not repeat again.

........We had once transfer of odd stocks from Quality R/3 system after it was refreshed from production R/3 (and RFC connections remaining the same or so)......

Hi,

You might want to consider checking ivecache and DB inconsistencies. Try /SAPAPO/OM17 with check Stocks option.

If you have already considered this or If this report does not recognize and correct the inconsistencies, another way to correct the stocks is to re-send the stocks instead of deleting the stocks directly in APO. Try running Initial Supply of Stocks by running program RIMODINI. Try this in quite time when transactions are at a minimum.

Hope this helps

Hi Anirudha,

Check the storage location of the stocks which are under R/3

and APO. If the storage location is not APO relevant, then

CCR will not find the mismatches. Also check the classes

and characteristics attached to the stocks at both R/3 and

APO if any.

Dear Anirudha ,

The way I understand the problem is that APO stocks are more than SAP R/3 stocks.

These are batch stocks in unrestricted category in APO and these are zero in SAP R/3 as of now.

Therefore it appears that these stocks are now obsolete obsolete from APO Planning point of view(as these do not appear in CCR) and can be safely removed from APO.

If at all these reppear again in APO, you will have fresh log( e.g. in SLG1) as to where these came from, and you can analyse the same.

Hi Anirudha,

Please check whether this product location is part of any active integration model for stock and material.

If this is part of the active integration model then try to run RIMODINI to correct it.
