_Post thread reason_
I have only Windows 2008 R2 while it's not officially certified by SAP. See Note 1383873.And I have no other version Windows system. I faced problem to install SAP on this platform. I think someone maybe need this help
Root Cause
It's compatible issue. Please PAY SPECIAL NOTE THAT THIS IS JUST FOR TEST CASE. IT CAN BE USED FOR DEMO & TEST CASE. any production should be certified by SAP or ORACLE. For my case, I just make it happen. I cannot assure your production run well. It JUST WORK. Not assured.
How do I fix this issue
Check message from www.google.com and service.sap.com/notes
Solution
1 download the proper Oracle 10G installation CD. You should download this version Oracle as below
ZIP 51036975 ORACLE 10.2.0.4 Failsafe Server 3.4.1.5 Windows 2008 Info 1094024 06.04.2009
This CD contains proper oracle installation image
2 Edit two files and then you can eliminate Oracle installation issue
File 1
..\51036975
NT\AMD64\database\stage\prereq\db\refhost.xml
add following lines
<OPERATING_SYSTEM>
<VERSION VALUE="6.1"/>
</OPERATING_SYSTEM>
File 2
..\51036975
NT\AMD64\database\install\oraparam
Change following lines
[Certified Versions]
#You can customise error message shown for failure, provide value for CERTIFIED_VERSION_FAILURE_MESSAGE
Windows=5.0,5.1,5.2,6.0
as these lines
[Certified Versions]
#You can customise error message shown for failure, provide value for CERTIFIED_VERSION_FAILURE_MESSAGE
Windows=5.0,5.1,5.2,6.0,6.1
Add following lines at proper position
[Windows-6.1-required]
Minimum display colours for OUI to run
MIN_DISPLAY_COLORS = 256
Minimum CPU speed required for OUI
CPU = 300
SPECIAL NOTE, the last edit line please reference the ORAPARMINI FILE Format, The [Windows-6.1-required] format is wrong .Seems SAP POST cannot write correctly, I don't know why. Add the line to be similar with other record. FAINT

There is a 'quote' button above the edit field, if you press the
<< >>
button the text will be posted without "interpreting" it.
