BI Application Server Upgrade From BW 3.5 to BI 7.01

Hello

I have a doubt as to how can we upgrade the application servers in BI environment.

I successfully upgraded the Test server but it did not have any application servers.

Are there any steps to be followed while upgrading System along with application servers.

Hi,

If you refer to the Upgrade Guide - SAP Netweaver 7.0 BI ABAP with EHP1, then in topic Followup Activities (depending upon my guide), you will find the topic "Upgrading or Installing Dialog instances"

As per it, you need to install a new dialog instance on top of the old dialog instance and use the same instance number for it.
