No notification/email generated for completion WF - SRM 7.0

We are using evaluation id 9EV_SC_00S as our WF schema for shopping carts. In the WF approval preview of a "text-only" cart, the approver is shown as the buyer (for completion), however, no msg is generated to that buyer. There is no email in SBWP or the UWL. How do we complete the cart?

What could be wrong?

Ok, the problem is fixed.

The user had not completed and ordered the cart. Once he did that, all the relevant WFs and tasks in the UWL started working.

Masa:

There's no WF item in BBP_PD noe in SWI1 or SWI6. However, when we go to the SC, in the Approval Preview it shows first stage of approval as Completion WF with the buyer's name.

How come there's no WF in BBP_PD?

Hi,

Approval Preview is just preview by simulation. It is not from actual workflow runtime.

Your root issue is workflow is not triggered. I think basic workflow configuration is not completed. Please double check the event type linkage.

Hi,

Do you see the workitem in inbox? If there is no workitem, please check the tasks are general task.

The workitem is not in Inbox. All the WF-relevant tasks are marked 'general'. Is there a specific one we have to mark?

Hi,

You need to find the root cause why there is no workitem.

Please go to BBP_PD transaction and find the workflow item ID. Check the workflow log in SWI1 or SWI6 transaction.

You see who is the approver in workflow log.
