IDOC (PO to vendor, replication from server to server)

Hi Seniors,

kindly clear these points please.

1) How and where do i find the reason for IDOC failure in any process (PO to vendor, replication from server to server)..so on?

2) If a IDOC is failed in aforesaid process, how do i analyze that ?

Hi Jana,

Reason for idoc failure will be their in Idoc itself.To view that go to tcode : we02 ( input only idoc number) - > execute.It displays idoc then drill down the status record (this will show status of idoc as well message).Generally failed idoc will be in status - 51 and the message beside this will be helpful in analzing the cause of failure.

You can process failed through tcode : BD87 once you correct the cause of error.
