VAT FIELD MANDATORY

Hi

The client wants to have the VAT Reg No field in the customer Master Mandatory

while inserting a customer.

In OBD2 > Account Group > General Data > Control > VAT registration number --- Here select the Radio Button as Req. Entry.

Hi,

Goto the T.Code "OBD2".

Or Follow the path:

SPRO>Logistics - General>Business Partner>Customers>Control-->Define Account Groups and Field Selection for Customers.

Select your customer account group.

Details.

Double click on "General Data".

Double click on "Control" in "Select Group".

Under the field "VAT registration number" tick the radio button under "Req. Entry" to make this field as mandatory.

Save.

Hi,

You can do it easily. Setting is this to Mandatory is based on the Account Group of the customer. (What you select at XD01 or VD01)

Go to OBD2 Tx.

Select the relevant account group and go in to it

Double click on the "General data" under "Field status" section

Double click on the "Control" under "Select Group" section

Now under "Control" section your should be able to see the field "VAT registration number"

Se the radio button "Req. Entry" against that and save.

Now try to create a new customer from that account group, that field will be mandatory now.
