Hello All,
We employ the Archivelink Content Server interface. I changed http port from 8010 to 80 via parameter icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP;PORT=80. In csadmin the host and port for content repository is fine but when I access the content server through ESS to display employee photos, the application still references the old http port 8010. So now the employee photos are not appearing.
How can I get the application to reference the correct content server port? Any help would be appreciated - points for helpful answers.
Hi,
Please verify the URL
http://<host name>:<port no.>/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo - if the port changed by you is working.
The standard port for CS is 1090.
Is there any reason you want to change the port to 80, since port number 80 is generally used by other general internet applications.
Another way is run the installation again and select "Modify" - select content server and modify the port you want to use and complete the setup.

Hello Anirudh,
We are using the ICF service /sap/bc/contentserver. We have not installed a seperate content server. All files are being saved into the sap database. The contentserver worked fine with the icm http port 8010 when it was assiged. Now when the http port is changed to 80, the application is still referencing port 8010. Even though in csadmin the host and port information is showing up correctly and in oam1 the test is running successfully for the content repository.
Hi Shafi,
Please check following points:
1. Is the IP adress same for both?
2.Have you activated certificate thru CSADMIN?
3.Is interface done properly?
I hope this will be helpful.
Regards,
Ravindra
