I am new to PI and Composite Applications and don't understand the relationship between these technologies. They both seem to allow users to identify and integrate application services.
Are they complementary? Is PI required for using Composite Application Framework, or only in some instances? Is PI only needed if the application services are coming from both SAP and Non-SAP environments?
It would be appreciated if someone could shed some light on this for a generally non-technical person. I keep reading the PI and CAF product literature and can't clearly see the relationship.
thank you.
