Assigning material to different sales Order in MTO

Dear All,

In the system, we have make to order production. User has a Sales Order with quantity 1. MRP and Production order is generated for the quantity 1. Then later user modifies the quantity to 2. Again MRP and Production order is generated for same sales order. Now user modifies the quantity to 1. The material with qty 2 is already produced with reference to same sales order. How to assign 1 qty to another sales order as this product is already blocked to previous sales order.

Hello Rahul

Did you try Material transfer posting - T code MB1B- with movement type 413 with Special stock Indicator E?

Also did you check with your PP/MM colleague. This should be a standard process for them.

Hi,

Create a new sales order B with 1 Qty. Run MRP. Create Plnd order then Prod order. Say prod order B. Dont release this Prod Order.

Now reverse the stock movement which u did when Prod Order A was confirmed for 2 qty (when stock was produced for sales Order A where qt=2)

Then again confirm the Prod order A with 1 qty.

Now 1 qty remains. Assign it to Production order B & confirm it.

Take help from ur MM or PP colleagues to achieve this.
