account determination analysis

Hi experts,

Q1: Why other table description cannot be listed for PR00 when performing account determination analysis in invoice? U know, I have defined table Z & put the relevant account there.

Q2: Why ZCP just access to table 3, even the relevant account has been set for other table?

Q3: No matter one sales organization or more, is it proper to define PR00 to access to table 1 while ZCP to access to table z? Any bad impact or risk?

Case:

Invoice contains PR00 & ZCP. When performing account determination analysis in invoice, PR00 access to table 1 & only this access lists. All the access can be listed for ZCP.

VKOA shows below:

table description

1 Cust.Grp/MaterialGrp/AcctKey

2 Cust.Grp/Account Key

3 account key

z sales org/distribution/Cust.Grp/MaterialGrp/AcctKey

Hi Lakshmipathi,

Very sorry for my fault. I have not clarified clearly.

Case 1

sales org. 1000: PR00 access to table 1 while ZCP access to table z.

sales org. 2000: PR00 access to table 2 while ZCP access to table z.

Case 2

sales org. 1000 PR00 access to table 1 while ZCP access to table z.

sales org. 2000 PR00 access to table 2 while ZCP access to table 3.

My question: Is it proper to make above settings?

Sorry still you have to clarify what do you mean by table 1, 2 & 3 ??

As you would be aware, for all condition types, we maintain the relevant access sequence table in V/07. Do you refer this one ??

thanks

Hi Lakshmipathi,

Again, sorry for my fault.

When clicking VKOA, "Assign G/L account" screen shows below. This is what I mean "table". You know, when executing "account determination analysis" in billinng document, condition type can be found it access to which table.

VKOA:

Table description

1 Cust.Grp/MaterialGrp/AcctKey

"account determination analysis" in billinng document:

Procedure

KOFI00

PR00

10 (KOFI) Cust.Grp/MaterialGrp/AcctKey

Case 1

sales org. 1000: PR00 access to table 1 while ZCP access to table z. - Yes it can be done

sales org. 2000: PR00 access to table 2 while ZCP access to table z. - Yes it can be done. In this instance the G/ L accounts to which the PR00 value posts might be different when compared to the Sales Org 1000.

Case 2

sales org. 1000 PR00 access to table 1 while ZCP access to table z. - Yes

sales org. 2000 PR00 access to table 2 while ZCP access to table 3. - Yes. explanation same as above about the G/L Accounts.

Regards

Sai
