Error while installing ECC 5

Hi Guru's,

We are facing an error,while installing the data base instance.We have done central instance installation sucessfully.

It's giving an error message as Drive:/xxx/xxx/DATA files doen n't find. This is actual path, where we have kept our installablles.actually in export file, DATA file is there. but still it's giving the error as DATA file doen't exits.

Please help me out, if any one come across the similar problem.

actually the data file is there in Exp1 file.but still it's giving the same error.

Hi,

As per SAP note 806587, this error comes when path of DVD contains blank. But as you pasted path and it does not contain any blank. Could you please try below thing:

1) Copy DVD on local directory and then try.

2) Also, try to reduce the path to DVD. Sometimes it may happen because path is long.

Hello Venkata,

Sounds like MS-SQL DB. Anyways go to this locaion : F:/installables/ECC5/Export/D51030721/DATA and find if a valid label.asc exists or not. If it does open it and paste it contents here. If it does not then the do the same for F:/installables/ECC5/Export/D51030721.

Compare Size of Export Dump with Export DVD , check whether it match or not.?
