Inspection Lot not created during GR

Hi All,

I have an issue wherein the QM View is not activated during PO creation. This has caused the succeeding Goods Receipt to move the stock to Unrestricted eventhough I have already activated QM.

How can I rectify this problem that GR for this PO will go to QI and will create inspection lot.

Try: Change the Stock Type to Quality at the time of GR.

Inspection lot will always created when QM view is activated before PO creation.if master data of QM is changed after PO created it will not have any effect on Inspection lot creation.

Now your setting will be valid only after creation of new PO.

Now as suggested by someone in MIGO try to change the stock type,will not create new inspection lot only put material in QI stock.here it will not allow you to do MB1b-->321.

So theres no other way for this PO to create inspection lot when doing GR?

They have to manually create Inspection Lot instead and when they GR they need to change the stock type to QI?

One way is to cancel the GR .then again delete the material line item from PO & again put same material in ME22n.

This will change the stock type.

changing the stock type in MIGO will not help much.

Thanks a lot. Just to clarify, will the changing of the line item in the PO will have some effect on the dates. Out client is very particular on dates.

There is also a scenario wherein in the PO, we have release strategies.

Hi,

Please follow following steps,

I hope you have now activarted inspection type 01 for the material.

1. Go to PO with transcation ME22n,

2. For the matreial , go and change the stock type to Qulaity , instaed of unrestriced.

3. Save and come out.

Go and do GR .. Inspection lot will be generated.

Is suitable inspection type activated for the material in the QM view?

Is Inspection Plan / Material Specificaion created for the material?

check if the QM inforecored - vendor is having status not to create inspection while GR for material?

Please check these points also.
