SAP GUI for Windows 7.20 - Defining column widths and layout for logon pad

I am trying to configure the SAP logon pad for Windows 7.20 so the name column under the explorer or tree view is wide enough to show the full name with out having to change the width of the column every time you logon. Can anyone advise how we can configure column widths and which view to use. I presume it can be configured in the saplogontree.xml file but I can't find any documentation on how to do this. Currently all changes to layout are lost everytime the logon pad is closed.

I had to add ColumnWidth1

I didn't find how to solve that too. Hope the first patch for 7.20 will change situation.
