Windows Mobile versions supported by SAP

Hello all,

What are the windows mobile versions officially supported by SAP? I have a customer that is asking about WM 6.1 & 6.5 however, in the NetWeaver Mobile PAM the latest reference is to Windows Mobilw 2006.

Can anyone help?

Hi Ivan,

Windows Mobile 6.1 & 6.5 are not officialy supported by SAP.

However, on request by the customer, SAP is certifying the devices running on these two platforms for Netweaver Mobile 7.1

The customer needs to enter into an agreement with SAP to get the device certified.

If you would like to know further details about how to get a device certified let me know I will find it out.

Hi,

Tests are going on for updating PAM with Windows Mobile 6.1 and as per my understanding there are few customers running Mobile 7.1 apps in windows mobile 6.1already
